Alcoholism
Alcoholism, also known as alcohol use disorder, is a chronic relapsing disease characterized by an uncontrollable compulsion to consume alcoholic beverages despite the negative consequences. It is a complex condition influenced by a combination of genetic, environmental, and psychological factors. Alcoholism can lead to a range of physical and mental health problems, including liver damage, heart disease, depression, and addiction. Treatment for alcoholism often involves a combination of therapies, medications, and support groups. If one consumes alcohol on a regular basis it is must that they get their body checked on a regular interval to avoid any serious disease.
